LUZ DE LUNA, the benefit piano-dance recital will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 3. 2014. The event’s proceeds and sponsorships are Crescendo con la Musica Foundation’s (CMF) main fundraising endeavor of the fiscal year. The monies raised will fund and support the Foundation’s efforts to

provide musical education to under served children in Guadalajara, Mexico, as well as future projects across Latin America.

LUZ DE LUNA will be the first benefit concert aimed at expanding CMF’s fundraising and public relations activities. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, who has been a friend of Crescendo con la Musica, is underwriting this concert gala.

Jorge Viladoms Weber has shared the concert stage with Crescendo con la Musica wherever he preforms. Jorge’s concerts throughout Europe and North America has allowed him to spread the vision of the Foundation. Jorge has used the press coverage that has followed him and his sold-out recitals to highlight the dire need for universal musical education and the very personal way his Foundation has championed musical outreach to the children most in need. His passion did not go unnoticed.

Fellow artists and friends listened to his appeal and vowed their allegiance to help Jorge and Crescendo con la Musica Foundation.
Out of this pledge from the Foundations new friends, LUZ DE LUNA, a collaborative piano-dance concert was born. We are honored to announce that the Paris Opera Ballet’s Hervé Moreau will make a world premier of a set of dances that has been choreographed by Benjamin Millepied for the occasion.

The main goal of Crescendo con la Musica Fundraising Piano Dance Concert and Gala Dinner is to gather influential New Yorkers, Latin Americans, and Philanthropist of who identified with the Foundation’s vision in helping less fortunate children in Mexico to have access to Musical Education, by raising funds.

Simultaneously it will help to spread the work the foundation does in Guadalajara, Mexico, and future projects across Latin America through media distribution, press coverage, and interviews across the main American, Latin American, Mexican and European media outlets.
